Creating custom pages

Select Empty page or any predefined page under the New page button to create a new page.

You can create custom pages in any folder, although it makes no sense adding a Contents page to every folder, for example.

Use Title to rename a custom page, not the file name!

When you create a new page, jAlbum makes a copy of the template came with the skin, and even if the template is updated later with a skin update, the page in the album will remain the same. If you need to update the custom page with the latest code – e.g. after a bug fix –, create a new one of the same type, right-click → Edit, and Copy/Paste all the code from the new page into the old (edit the same way). Once the code is copied over, you can safely remove the newly created one. This way you don't have to fill in the forms again.

In jAlbum you can create custom pages too with all site-enabled skins. Add your HTML content through jAlbum's built-in Textpad editor. You can even add javascript.
