Starting with jAlbum 10 you can use the so-called Custom pages. You can have any content in those pages, but there are also 4 pre-defined custom pages in Turtle: About, Contact, Sitemap and New Photos see here. Use the new page button in jAlbum 12+ or right-click in the thumbnail area and select the New page menu.

To allow the Pages appear in the top menu, turn on Show top navigation on the Site tab. To show them within the thumbnails too, turn off Hide links to custom pages if top navigation is on.

To control the items order – e.g. to show the Page links at the top of the thumbnail area – change Items order on the Thumbnails tab.

About page

Sample page »

Add a simple introduction page to your album. You can specify an author image, a headline, and a custom HTML content below it. If you omit the author image a generic icon will appear.

Please note, the author image must not be removed, otherwise Turtle won't find it during the subsequential album builds. If you want the album project self-containing, first copy the author image to the album project's folder: Ctrl Shift I, and then add it with the About page's Select button.

Contact page

Sample page »

Turtle's predefined Contact page contains links to the most popular social sites (Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Pinterest, Tumblr, jAlbum, Flickr, Foursquare, Google+, LinkedIn, Vimeo, YouTube, Instagram), and naturally you can have your email and postal address displayed as well.

Site map page

Adding a site map can be handy with complex, multi-level albums (not like this). Turtle also displays thumbnails next to the links (where applicable). You can also choose to display the folder description or a short excerpt for the custom pages.
