2. The Input Method

This method enables greater control over the Master Album's appearance. Uses the existing Input data, the source data.

  • Create a Master Album project file (MasterAlbum.jap). It does not matter where it resides, though the Input folder may be a good place.
  • Make all configurations. Set the key parameters:
    Image directory = Input folder
    Output directory = Output folder
    Process subdirectories = unselected
  • Make Album

MasterAlbumInput.jpg

This is another simple method, see MasterAlbumInput.jpg. Again, the albums are linked together under the master index. However, the individual album's folder thumbnails, "Large thumbs for Folders", descriptions, etc are now available for use in the Master Album.

Note that it is likely that JAlbum Project files will be created in the source data. While this is not a major issue, one should just be aware of the fact.
